“Childlike”

I met a “child warrior,” and he talked with me about being childlike.

He was young at heart and humble.

Like a child, the warrior believed his Father, and he received whatever the Father promised because the warrior trusted Him. He knew the Father was truthful and good. And what he received by faith, he was able to share with others. Being a child was fun; faith in the Father was joyous.

And he realized he could do nothing without the help of his Father, so he learned to depend on the Lord, and to walk with Him.

I pray that I always keep the humble position of a child in need of God’s help, because He is faithful to provide what’s needed and more.

Luke 18:16-17 NIV

But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
