“PURPOSE”

I met a “purposeful warrior,” and he talked with me about purpose.

He was chosen to be in the service of the King. After he was brought into the Kingdom of Light, he wondered about his purpose.

So he asked the King, “Now that You’ve brought me into Your service, what am I to do? What is Your plan for my life?”

The King did have a plan for the warrior’s life. He has a will for all of His soldiers. But His plan must be pursued, and the warrior must be fully surrendered to it. The King will help, and all will be found in His word.

I realized the greatest thing one could do is to find the will of the King for their life and do it; this is my prayer for all men. Yes, to live out the purpose for which they were created.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption (through His blood), the forgiveness of sins.
